SUMMARY:Organising Against Imperialism at Home - with Bristol Apartheid-Free Zone
DESCRIPTION:Tickets\nTickets are pay-what-you-can with a suggested minimum donation of £3.00 in order to help cover venue costs. There are some limited free tickets as well for people who will struggle to contribute this. \n\nDescription\nIn the past two years\, across the world we have seen not only a huge outpouring of grief for the genocide in Gaza\, but many acts of organised resistance against it. Marches\, direct actions\, nationwide strikes\, and solidarity flotillas have shown that the vast majority of the planet is against genocide and western imperialism. But while heroic and inspiring\, these efforts have so far failed to compel our governments to act. In fact\, US & Zionist imperialism appears to be more emboldened than ever; after kidnapping the President of Venezuela\, and then making claims over Greenland\, they now have taken the horrific and devastating step of declaring all out war on Iran. \nIn this session\, we are going to explore the different ways of organising against imperialism\, and look at their strengths and weaknesses and examine why and where some have been successful\, while others less so. We are going to look at the structures in place that prevent effective organising and talk about the different tactics that have been used over the years to overcome them. \nIt is becoming more and more clear that appeals to the morality and good will of politicians does not work. Meaningful change can only come from creating mass politics\, engaging everyone in the struggle against imperialism and forcing our governments to act. \nJoin the session and help us organise to do it. \nWhat to expect \nA talk\, followed by a discussion with inputs welcome from all attendees. Most of our events have somewhere between 10-30 attendees. We aim for every event to be accessible to everyone\, regardless of any prior knowledge! \nAbout Bristol Apartheid-Free Zone  \nOver the last two years\, through a community boycott campaign\, BAFZ have been organising our city to stand in opposition to the genocide. They’ve done this through grassroots\, door-to-door organising; with hundreds of active volunteers and 6000 local supporters\, our city is now home to Europe’s largest grassroots boycott campaign.

SUMMARY:Althusser: Is education just capitalist ideology?
DESCRIPTION:Tickets\nTickets are pay-what-you-can with a suggested minimum donation of £3.00 in order to help cover venue costs. There are some limited free tickets as well for people who will struggle to contribute this. \n\nDescription\nAlthusser was an influential French Marxist thinker whose theories about education are familiar to every undergraduate and A-level sociology student. \nCapitalism secures its own reproduction by means of both violence and ideology. The Repressive State Apparatus (police\, courts\, military) keeps workers in check with physical threats\, while the Ideological State Apparatus (schools\, religion\, media\, family\, sport) helps to disseminate ruling class ideas as common sense. \nAre we just reproducing capitalism in our classrooms? How far can we realistically go in challenging the dominant capitalist ideology? Is Althusser right that education is more dominant even than the media? Shouldn’t PE teachers really be seen as part of the Repressive State Apparatus? \nRecommended reading: “Ideology and Ideological State Apparatuses” by Althusser: PDF version – Text version \n\nWhat to expect\nAfter a short introductory talk\, we will discuss the topic in small groups\, with some time to feed back to the whole room. Most of our events have somewhere between 10-30 attendees. We aim for every event to be accessible to everyone\, regardless of any prior knowledge! \n\nAbout Bristol Transformed\nBristol Transformed is a grassroots\, volunteer-run\, socialist education group. Bringing together activists\, trade unionists\, and everyone who wants to learn\, we’re creating the space to discuss the most important issues facing us\, equipping us with the skills and knowledge to transform Bristol and the world. \nWe run an annual festival of politics\, arts and culture in May\, and weekly events throughout the rest of the year. See all our events here. \nBristol Transformed is run by dozens of local people. Without new people coming in every year\, we wouldn’t be able to maintain the same standard of political education events that you enjoy. If you’d be interested in joining us\, sign up as a BT volunteer today and we’ll be in touch!

There are some limited free tickets as well for people who will struggle to contribute this. \n\nDescription\nIs education being destroyed by technology? Can we replace teachers with AI? SUMMARY:Capitalism\, Imperialism & Zionism - with Bristol Apartheid-Free Zone
DESCRIPTION:Tickets\nTickets are pay-what-you-can with a suggested minimum donation of £3.00 in order to help cover venue costs. There are some limited free tickets as well for people who will struggle to contribute this. \n\nFree Palestine\, free the world: Why anti-imperialism must be at the heart of our socialist politics\nJoin Bristol Apartheid-Free Zone and Bristol Transformed for an education series exploring anti-imperialist practice in the West; in particular\, how we can effectively take action for Palestine in Britain today. \nOver the last two years\, through a community boycott campaign\, BAFZ have been organising our city to stand in opposition to the genocide. They’ve done this through grassroots\, door-to-door organising. With hundreds of active volunteers and 6000 local supporters\, our city is now home to Europe’s largest grassroots boycott campaign. \nThis series explores some of the theories that underpin BAFZ’s work. We’ll explore the forces that give rise to ‘Israel’s’ apartheid and genocide in order to consider what effective Palestine solidarity work looks like in Western countries like Britain today. \nThis multi-session series grapples with some of the following questions: \nHow do theories of capitalism\, imperialism and Zionism help us to engage in effective practices of solidarity? Why does organising Palestine solidarity on a class basis matter? How does BAFZ’s doorknocking and community boycott strategy fit with these theories? \nThis session will explore the root causes of genocide and apartheid in Palestine. Together we’ll explore the links between capitalism\, Western imperialism\, and Zionism. We’ll think through how these dynamics shape ‘Israel’s’ actions\, and how they help us understand Britain’s role in the genocide. This will help us consider what effective solidarity work looks like in the West\, and why the kind of work that BAFZ does might be a part of this strategy. \nWhat to expect\nA talk\, followed by a discussion with inputs welcome from all attendees. Most of our events have somewhere between 10-30 attendees. SUMMARY:Childcare in Activism - with the Bristol Transformed Childcare Caucus
DESCRIPTION:Tickets\nTickets are pay-what-you-can with a suggested minimum donation of £3.00 in order to help cover venue costs. There are some limited free tickets as well for people who will struggle to contribute this. \n\nDescription\nThe Bristol Transformed Childcare Caucus was established last year\, providing free childcare at BT and other socialist meetings. Beyond just providing care\, they also aim to politically engage volunteers\, including education on the political significance of childcare and how it enables wider participation in activism. Across two events this spring\, we will discuss the historical role of childcare in activism! \nAt this first event we will discuss this history\, encouraging participants to share their own experiences and knowledge. We will explore how childcare has evolved within political movements\, including the benefits and challenges brought by safeguarding requirements. \nOur second event in March will build on this by incorporating a brief history of our own Childcare Caucus and its development within Bristol Transformed! \nWhat to expect\nAfter a short introductory talk\, we will discuss the topic in small groups\, with some time to feed back to the whole room. Most of our events have somewhere between 10-30 attendees. We aim for every event to be accessible to everyone\, regardless of any prior knowledge! \nDedicated childcare will not be provided for this event\, but children are very welcome (and we will have toys and snacks). \nAbout Bristol Transformed\nBristol Transformed is a grassroots\, volunteer-run\, socialist education group. SUMMARY:Rethinking Political Agency - The Place of the "I" in Politics
DESCRIPTION:Tickets\nIndividual political agency today – myth or political reality? A collaborative exploration of the limits of meaningful political agency with Jess Mezo (PhD Researcher\, University of Bath).\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHow do we find our place in the political life of our communities? What does it mean to exercise agency in a world where so many feel powerless? Join Jess Mezo\, PhD researcher in Political Theory\, Creative Methods\, and Non-Violent Resistance Movements at the University of Bath\, for a unique\, collaborative workshop designed to help us rethink our roles in shaping political change. \nThis event is not a lecture\, but a space for open dialogue and collective problem-solving. Bring your questions\, your concerns\, and your lived experiences. Together\, we’ll explore the obstacles to meaningful political agency (both locally and nationally) and work towards practical\, creative solutions. Drawing on insights from political theory and previous community workshops\, Jess will guide the discussion\, but the direction and outcomes will be shaped by you\, the participants. \nWhether you’re a student\, an activist\, or a curious member of the public\, this workshop is for anyone interested in understanding and reclaiming their political power. We’ll discuss what empowered agency can look like\, how art and joy can be tools for change\, and how we might cultivate a culture of action in challenging times. \nCome ready to share\, reflect\, and imagine new possibilities for political engagement because the future of our communities is far from determined and its trajectory depends on the voices and actions of us all. \nAll are welcome. No prior experience in political theory required – just an open mind and a willingness to participate. \nNibbles and refreshments provided. A limited number of bus passes (Bristol + Bath to Bristol for Bath residents) available for those on low incomes – please get in touch to request a ticket if applicable. We want to make sure that no one is excluded due to their financial circumstances.

SUMMARY:FOCUS CONGO
DESCRIPTION:Tickets\n\nPresented by BadApple\, Friends of Congo\, School of Activism & SOLiD\nAfter the powerful success of our first event\, Focus on Congo returns for Round 2\, this time at the People’s Republic of Stokes Croft. \nOn this night\, we gather once again in solidarity with the Congolese people\, raising funds for Focus Congo\, an organisation working directly with families impacted by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Democratic Republic of Congo. \nThis fundraiser will bring together activists\, artists\, speakers\, and the Bristol community for an evening of food\, culture\, and action. \nWHAT TO EXPECT \nTalks & Panel Discussions:\nFeaturing Bad Apple\, shedding light on corporate exploitation and the urgent need to boycott Apple for its role in Congo’s cobalt crisis. Friends of Congo and the School of Activism will also lead conversations\, alongside speakers from Congo including author Lildonia Lawrence\, sharing insights from her book Back Yourself: A Self-Care Guide to Healing from Racial Trauma. \nPoetry & Performance:\nWith powerful contributions from Poet Lawrence Hoo and local performers using art to amplify truth. \nCultural Food & Merchandise:\nEnjoy freshly made African cuisine\, and explore new fundraiser merchandise — including badges\, posters\, and stickers\, with all proceeds going to Focus Congo. \nCommunity Energy:\nExpect a night of solidarity\, reflection\, and cultural celebration\, designed not only to raise funds but to deepen awareness of Congo’s struggles and resilience. \nWhy it matters:\nCongo is at the heart of the global tech economy\, providing the majority of the world’s cobalt — a key mineral in phones\, laptops\, and electric cars. Behind these devices lies a story of exploitation\, child labour\, displacement\, and political violence. Yet the people of Congo continue to resist\, organise\, and survive. \nBy coming together\, we show that Bristol is not silent. We stand in solidarity\, we educate ourselves and each other\, and we raise real funds that will have a direct impact on Congolese families through Focus Congo. \nThe struggle in Congo is global\, and so is our solidarity. Join us for a night of community\, creativity\, and commitment. \nGoFundMe link: https://gofund.me/d5d030840 \nEntry requirements: no age restrictions

SUMMARY:Democracy in Your Party?
DESCRIPTION:Tickets\nTickets are pay-what-you-can with a suggested minimum donation of £3.00 in order to help cover venue costs. There are some limited free tickets as well for people who will struggle to contribute this. \n\n“If we seek to build a society that truly believes that every cook can govern\, we have to put those beliefs into practice.” \nAs Your Party’s founding conferene gets delayed until the new year\, the organisation behind-the-scenes looks increasingly worrying. Rumours swirl of secretive disputes\, unofficial factions\, and unelected leaders coup’d out of their own party. \nIn light of this\, it falls to us – supporters on the ground – to put forward a new vision of what this party could be. Joining debates taking place across the country\, this week’s event will discuss democratic structures: what sort of party should we fight for? How could a new party empower ordinary people to become political organisers & leaders? \nBefore this event\, we encourage you to read the article “Democracy Is More Than Voting”. We’ll be using it as the starting point for discussing different models of democracy\, and the best ways to build a socialist organisation. Don’t worry about the specifics\, like mentions of particular committees or “Robert’s Rules”! \nEvent format: After a short introduction\, we’ll spend most of the event discussing the article in groups of 4-5 people\, with some time to discuss it with the whole room afterwards. \n\nBristol Transformed runs an annual festival of politics\, arts and culture in April\, and events every Tuesday evening throughout the rest of the year. See all our events here: https://hdfst.uk/bristol-transformed \nWe are a grassroots\, volunteer-run\, socialist education group. SUMMARY:Bristol Transformed: Education & Socialism
DESCRIPTION:Tickets\nTickets are pay-what-you-can with a suggested minimum donation of £3.00 in order to help cover venue costs. There are some limited free tickets as well for people who will struggle to contribute this. \n\nAfter a successful run of Education and Socialism events last year\, we are back to plan another year of sessions with a view to bringing some more people on board. We want your ideas and input. Bring them along (however unfinished) and we can work together on session ideas and book them in for future months so that you have plenty of time to prepare and plenty of support to run the kind of high-quality political education that the movement needs right now. \nSessions can be on anything education and socialism related: from nurseries to universities\, from public libraries to Duolingo\, from Gloucester grammar schools to Zapatista Autonomous Rebel Municipalities. Previous sessions have included: Bullshit Pedagogy\, Deschooling Society\, The Cuba Literacy Campaign\, bell hooks\, Paolo Freire\, The Common School. Experienced activists and facilitators will be on hand to help build session ideas and confidence. \nAll welcome and all encouraged to get involved\, in whatever way you would like to contribute. \nSessions will happen at 6:30pm on the second Tuesday of each month. \n\n  \nBristol Transformed is a grassroots\, volunteer-run\, socialist education group. DESCRIPTION:Tickets\nTickets are pay-what-you-can with a suggested minimum donation of £3.00 in order to help cover venue costs. There are some limited free tickets as well for people who will struggle to contribute this. \n\nCorbyn & Sultana’s announcement of a new political party has shaken British politics\, but everything about the party is up in the air. How will it be organised? Who will lead it? Will it be a purely parliamentary party\, or can we aim for something more? \nIn this event we’ll discuss one proposal for how to build a radically democratic party\, led by its members – Max Shanly’s article “Towards a New Model Left Party” \nWe encourage everyone to read the article\, or at least the closing section where he lays out his concrete proposals. \nEvent format: After a short introduction\, we will discuss the article in small groups\, with time to feed back to the whole room afterwards. \n————————\nBristol Transformed is a grassroots\, volunteer-run\, socialist education group. SUMMARY:Mae Tao Clinic & Myanmar Earthquake Aid Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Tickets\nCOME LEARN about the patients and healthcare workers at Mae Tao Clinic\, a lifeline for Karen and Burmese communities along the Thai-Myanmar border.\nAll funds raised by this event will go towards the clinic and aid the many people affected by the recent earthquake in Myanmar\, providing food\, sanitation\, shelter and medical treatment. Burmese food and products will also be on sale to support both causes. \nThe Mae Tao Clinic\, located on the Thai-Burma border\, provides essential healthcare to over 100\,000 displaced and vulnerable people each year. From life-saving emergency care to safe childbirth and treatment for chronic illness\, the clinic has stood as a lifeline for Karen and Burmese communities with nowhere else to turn. Your support at this event and beyond can help support the clinic’s ongoing mission to provide critical healthcare to those in need. \nThis photography exhibition\, hosted by Zin Htut\, a Burmese Bristol medical student who worked at the clinic in Autumn 2024\, showcases stories of humanity and resilience. SUMMARY:Bristol Transformed: First Congress of the Comedy Party
DESCRIPTION:Tickets\nWelcome\, comrades\, to the first policy conference of the hottest new party on the left. We invite you to bring forth your finest policy proposals – no idea too absurd – and present them to your fellow party members.\n—————- \nFor the opening night of their 2025 festival\, Bristol Transformed hosts a night of satirical presentations. Audience participation is highly encouraged. \nDo we need to establish a Toddlers’ union to negotiate bedtimes? Forcibly standardise takeaway tubs so the lids all match? Build a massive allotment in the shape of Corbyn’s head? Present your case to the crowd. \nIf you want to take part\, bring along a 5-10 minute presentation (bonus points if it includes a PowerPoint) making the case for a dumb policy that you think we should enact. Email email hidden; JavaScript is required so they can add you to the lineup. Bring any slides on a memory stick\, or email them. \nIf you don’t want to present\, join the audience and prepare to cheer and heckle our delegates!

SUMMARY:School of Activism: A movement of movements for Bristol?
DESCRIPTION:Tickets\nBristol is a city full of energy and vibrant alternative initiatives\, but they don’t always connect well together. The idea of a ‘movement of movements’ suggests that organizing might to scale out and scale up if it is to be able to address the polycrisis that faces us\, but for many organizers it is scale that is the problem. Ideas such as prefiguration\, horizontalism\, localism and so on tend to focus on the small and specific and to be suspicious of political parties\, the state and established institutions. In this event we want to think about longer term strategic aims and wider social transformation. Is it possible to think about the Bristol city region ecosystem in ways that are more strategic and systemic? Can we co-ordinate our activities so that the many local and particular forms of activism can become a rising tide of change which is impossible to ignore? \nJoin us for an evening of discussion with academics\, activists and local groups. Although entry is free\, capacity is limited\, so please get a ticket to secure your place. \nTimings:\n5 :30 pm Food for voluntary donation. The evening will start with early with food for those who want to come\, eat and meet like-minded others.\n6:30 pm Panel Discussion\n7.30 pm Audience discussion with members from local groups \nGuest Panel Speakers: \nRodrigo Nunes\, University of Essex \nA senior lecturer in political theory and organisaton at the University of Essex and the author of Neither Vertical Nor Horizontal: A Theory of Political Organisation (Verso\, 2021) and The View from Brazil: Neoliberalism\, the Far Right and the Grammar of Disintegration (Verso\, forthcoming). \nMakeda Bernard-Quashie\, Afrikan ConneXions Consortium \nBrings a breadth of knowledge and experience to a diverse range of Black civic society and economic activities. She is committed to developing the mutual sector and is currently co-ordinating the development of Zenzele Village – an intergenerational cooperative land and legacy initiative for Afrikan community self-repair. \nStephen Hilton\, Slowmentum \nSlowmentum is a consultancy working for an inclusive regenerative economy. It operates in the nexus between local authorities\, and local communities\, with a commitment to sustainable cities and community activism. Before founding Slowmentum\, Stephen was Director of the Bristol Futures Department at Bristol City Council. \nFriends from AngryWorkers/ Vital Signs Magazine \nThe AngryWorkers are a political collective who organise as workers in industries. In 2020 they published Class Power on Zero Hours\, about their experiences in warehouses and food factories in West London. Vital Signs Magazine is an AngryWorkers magazine by a small group of workers across the two main hospitals in Bristol. \nFacilitated by Claudia Firth and Martin Parker from the University of Bristol Business School. \nClaudia is a researcher working on the Fair Creative Economies project. She is interested in questions of organising\, alternative economies and strategy and coordination. She has written about the contribution economy\, mutual aid\, and prefigurative politics and has worked closely with community activist groups including being involved in the Bristol Commons. Martin is Professor of Organization Studies and author of (among other things) Shut Down the Business School (Pluto 2018). \nMembers from other Bristol based groups will also join us including Acorn\, Bristol Apartheid Free Zone\, Bristol Transformed\, and the Bristol Commons. This event is financially supported by the University of Bristol Business School. \nEntry requirements: no age restrictions

SUMMARY:The Imagination of Possible Worlds: A Chinese Film Series
DESCRIPTION:Tickets\nScreening\, Talk\, & Discussion of Fisherman\, dir. Dir. Liang Rong\, & Possible Worlds: Short Film Collection & After-Screen Music Performance from Wish band\nA group of storytellers sets out from China.\nThey film snow in the borderlands\, the fractures within families\, the silence after a plane crash—\nand in the blank spaces of reality\, they search for other possible worlds. \nThey gaze at the present\, and ask quietly\,\nWhat if a young man in rural China received a fountain pen from Italy?\nWhat if a long-departed loved one returned to life? \nIf love and dreams are a kind of certainty\,\nthen in all the possible worlds imagined by humankind\,\nthey will happen. \nThese imaginations remind us\, again and again:\nboundaries are fragile\, and often absurd.\nAnother way of living might already be at hand. \nThis time\, we bring these imaginations to Bristol.\nFrom opposite ends of the world\, we reach toward each other—\nand breathe the same second of the same world. \n1:30pm Screening of feature film: Fisherman\n3:45pm Screening of Possible Worlds short film collection\n6pm Screening of feature film: Shards\n8pm Resonant Possibilities: After-screening live music from Wish band \n🎬 FISHERMAN\nDir. Liang Rong | 2024 | 106 min | Documentary Feature \nBeneath a highway bridge\, a fisherman lives an unusual life. He eats\, sleeps\, and works entirely aboard his boat. He drinks river water\, bathes in the current\, and sells his daily catch along the shore. By all appearances\, things are getting better—his business is good\, his days pass in rhythm with the river\, and he speaks of fate with growing confidence. But one day\, a television crew arrives. An interview is filmed. And his fate begins to shift. \n🎬 Possible Worlds: Short Film Collection\nTotal runtime: approx. 97 min \nFrom snow-covered forests to southern summer towns\, from lost memories to surreal dreams\, these five short films travel across landscapes of disappearance\, obsession\, reunion\, and quiet transformation. Each story opens a door to another possible world—fragile\, strange\, and deeply human. \n🎬 SHARDS\nDir. Yuzhi Jiang | 2024 | 94 min | Narrative Feature \nDuring a winter solstice in the midst of the pandemic\, a family comes together. The grandmother and mother knead dough for dumplings; the grandfather and father fold gold paper into ceremonial ingots. The son weaves between them\, carrying his own quiet unrest. They speak of food\, chores\, estranged friends\, pigeons tearing each other apart\, and broken porcelain stitched back together. A dumpling skin breaks. An ingot turns to ash. The mended porcelain becomes ever more fragile. \nShards is a process film. Across a single uninterrupted day\, through the repetition of domestic labour\, a family fractures\, repairs\, reconciles\, and collapses once more. Like the traditional craft of ceramic mending (锔瓷)\, the pieces are bound tightly together—broken\, and yet whole. \n🎸After-Screening Live Performance-Wish band\nDropshipped parasocial relationship with a dream — space groove rock quartet \nTo close the festival weekend\, London-based Wish band will perform a live set in the screening space. Blending spacey grooves with emotional irony\, Wish band conjures a soundscape that feels both fragile and strangely intimate. It’s a fitting finale to a weekend of cinematic journeys through possible worlds. \nCurator: Jiahui Li\, Jingyi Tong\nScreening Coordinator: Wanxin wang\nEvent Producer: Caroline(CJ)\nPublicity & Community Outreach: Kye li\, Rhiannon Bennett\nVisual Design: RePlace Design

Without new people coming in every year\, we wouldn’t be able to maintain the same standard of political education events that you enjoy. SUMMARY:Rave On For The Avon: Film + Q&A
DESCRIPTION:Tickets\nA feature-length documentary that follows Bristol’s community fighting to save their river in unique and daring ways.\nDo humans have the right to nature? In “Rave On For The Avon”\, Director Charlotte Sawyer tells a story of a community of wild swimmers in Bristol (UK) affected by raw sewage pollution of the river Avon. England is one of the only two countries in the world to have a fully privatised water and sewage disposal system\, and with only 14% of English rivers in good ecological health\, the mission to keep the rivers clean is not going well. \nIn a series of moving\, exciting and thought-provoking scenes\, the swimmers create a stunning\, light-hearted yet fascinating tapestry\, probing how activism starts from the grassroots\, and carries a profound universal lesson for all of us. There’s a marriage to the river\, drum’n’bass\, a mermaid who tows an inflatable turd\, and a whole lot of cheesecake in this poignant reflection on people’s innovative battles for the natural world they cherish. \nFollowed by a Q&A with the Rave On community\, learn about the journey of the film\, and hear first-hand from those involved in the movement. The event will include poetry from the Avon Bride\, Mrs Meg Avon. \nModerator: Charlotte Kyle – a final year Spanish and politics student and the Trip Secretary of the University of Bristol Wild Swimming Society (@bristoluniwildswim). Charlotte is a journalist and an experienced communicator of environmental issues and will moderate this Q+A panel. \nQ&A guest: Elena Sedman – a final year German and music student and President of the University of Bristol Wild Swimming Society (@bristoluniwildswim). Elena will be one of our panelists\, as a fount of all Bristol swimming knowledge and an advocate for the physical\, social\, and mental benefits of wild swimming. \nRated ★★★★ by The Guardian – “Campaigning never looked so fun and friendly as it does in this joyous documentary about Bristol’s clean water campaigners” \nAbout the film:\nhttps://www.eightysita.com/raveonfortheavondocumentary\nhttps://www.instagram.com/raveonfortheavon/\nhttps://linktr.ee/raveonfortheavon \nDoors Open: 7 PM\nFilm Screening Starts: 7:30 PM\nQ&A: 9 PM – 9:30 PM \n\nEnabling Active Citizenship since 2019\nCurated and hosted by PRSC\, School of Activism events are designed to be empowering experiences equipping people with the tools to challenge the status quo\, contest power structures and ultimately to change the world.\nWe learn by doing.\nWe make our own future.
