SUMMARY:Bristol Perspective
DESCRIPTION:Throughout July\, we walked the streets of Bristol together\, guiding young people to create images of how they view the city. Capturing the urban landscape\, the group then worked together to create a mural through stencil graffiti art and mixed media. \nJoin us to celebrate this collective piece of art work created by a group of young people on Creative Youth Network’s Creative Careers course\, written and delivered by PRSC. Engaging 16-25 year olds who are not in education\, employment or training\, our courses provide opportunities for young people to grow in confidence and develop transferable skills\, while expressing themselves creatively. \nCome see Bristol through young eyes\, gaining a new perspective of the city we love.

DESCRIPTION:“The struggle of man against power is the struggle of memory against forgetting”. (Milan Kundera) \nThe Bearpit\, Central Bristol. 6pm-9pm. Working with Bristol Artists and the students of the Creative Youth Network\, Peoples Republic of Stokes Croft offer an outdoor exhibition of Bristol’s political heroes of the past in the struggle for justice. \nThe exhibition will be built in the Bearpit from 10-18th October\, when passers-by will see artists and students at work in this extraordinary public space where the city finds its political voice. \nHosted by Journey to Justice Bristol and PRSC.
