PRSC invites you to the opening of OBJECT; an exhibition of George Harding’s paintings that explore his interest in the humanizing of objects.

His practice explores painting through different approaches, one of which is paintings of collaged imagery. George collects objects that he photographs. He then collages the photographs with other imagery. Otherworldly environments are created for the object that are then painted as a whole. The paintings explore our human and emotional relationships to objects.

George is a fine artist based in Bristol and graduate from University of the Arts London, Chelsea. His work has attracted the attention of galleries and collectors in both London and Bristol. He recently had his first solo show with The Bethlem Gallery, Beckenham, Kent within the oldest psychiatric hospital in the world.

There will be limited edition mugs to accompany the exhibition as well as limited edition prints of George’s work that you can buy at the gallery or on-line on the PRSC website.

The exhibition ‘Object’ is the first of a series of exhibitions that will take place at PRSC  Selling Gallery showcasing local artists.
