Stokes Croft hosts its first ever fashion show this Sunday. Organised by the inestimable Gilly Woo, whose corsetry and bespoke dressmaking is based in the heart of Stokes Croft, the show will highlight  the creativity that resides in the area. Exhibitors will include Dutty Clothing, Spunky, Ben’s Sister, Gilly Woo herself and Avalaan.  Said Chris Chalkley of PRSC, “Stokes Croft is resurgent, and is Bristol’s hub of creativity. This promises to be an exciting event, and is another example of the local community pulling together to promote its own cause. There is a depth of creative talent in the Croft.”

The show will raise funds for the continuing work of PRSC, and it is planned that this show will become an annual fixture in Stokes Croft’s busy calendar.

Tickets may be puchased at www.gillywoo.com and cost £12.

Many thanks to Dave Trew at Metropolis for hosting this event.
