Open Call For Bristol Artists – Artwork Design: Bristol Activist Series Closes: 23/06/2017 Location: Bristol Type: Competition / Expression of Interest Salary: £100 per design Artform: visual arts, mixed media, graphic design, ceramic design, street art, screen-printing Contact: projects@prsc.org.uk The Peoples Republic of Stokes Croft (PRSC) and Journey to Justice Bristol (JToJ) are participating in a project to visualise Bristol’s history of activism and struggles for social justice. As part of a variety of exciting and innovative activities for the JToJ event throughout October 2017, PRSC is working with JToJ to celebrate and honour key activists in Bristol that have contributed to and inspired the social movement but have not been recognised for their actions. To raise awareness about these people, we will feature their likeness and ideas on fine bone china mugs. We are inviting artists to express their interest in designing artwork depicting an activist from our shortlist which will be selected by JToJ in the coming week. This is an exciting chance of having your artwork featured on fine bone china mugs as part of the JToJ activist series.
