The ashes of Alan “Bear” Smith, Stokes Croft Busking street poet, who died late last year of a heroin overdose are now with us in Stokes Croft. It is intended to have a small ceremony to scatter his ashes on Bristol Docks on a date soon to be announced. We believe it would be appropriate to have a short poetry recital in Alan’s memory. If anybody would like to contribute and recite some poetry, please contact us
