The No Tesco In Stokes Croft campaign rolls into the Council House on Wednesday for what looks like being the Final show down.
PRSC is building a small China factory in the Ground Floor of Jamaica Street. The studios will be open daily from 11am til 6pm until Christmas for sale of our exquisite product.
Love Bristol, the faith-based organisation based in Stokes Croft, are becoming increasingly visible… The ground floor of the building which faces Ashley Road has become a charity shop for the Christmas period, has been painted in a festive fashion, and the street furniture now sports a sewn covering…
Love Bristol agreed to the painting of the “Think Local” anti -Tesco mural on their building and made a contribution towards the cost of the paint.
The New PRSC Outdoor Gallery will re-open on Friday 10th December. There will be mulled wine, mince pies and an open fire, coinciding with late night opening at the Selling Gallery, the Banksy Q show, andthe Stokes Croft China Studios Xmas Gallery.
The PRSC Crew have been busy turning our piece of wasteland into a fully functional, multi-purpose yard, a space from which we can build.
Recently the famous and well-loved piece on Albert Park, Montpelier, (Apparently) was dogged… A large white emulsion tag effectively wrecking this landmark…
last week, the piece was comprehensively sorted, Feek, 3-dom, Sepr and Soker( and others?) creating a real tour de force, a worthy replacement for the damaged work.
A sweet little piece by 3-Dom, to be found down Picton Lane, just behind the Bristolian Caff.
Practice wall: Still up (Dec.
Not to be missed, this exhibition is arguably the most important of the year in the Croft…
PRESS RELEASE:
KING OF PAINT, BRISTOL
Nestling in the space between Bristol’s bus station and the Broadmead shopping centre, King Of Paint (KOP) is what Bristol’s graffiti and street art community have long been waiting for: a focal-point, in the heart of the city, just round the corner from the UK’s largest decriminalised painting zone, Stokes Croft.
PRSC was entered for the 2010 Regeneration and Sustainable Communities Awards. We didn’t win, but we did get a lovely certificate in which we were “Commended for exemplary practice, in recognition of outstanding work which has helped communities and improved people’s lives.”
