Despite any concerns that may have been raised, the sale of approximately 1,000 Banksy Molotov posters took place on Saturday May 7th amongst much good humour, and without incident, as several organisations including PRSC, Coexist, Bookfair organisers and Banksy’s people worked together to ensure that all went off peacefully.
Stephane Jarno came to Stokes Croft earlier this month, and wrote this article for their “Cities” End of Year Special Issue.
The Banksy Q show opened on the 12th November and will run until Christmas.

PRSC will open its new Gallery on Nov. 12th with “The Banksy Q”, an exhibition of works that were produced by those who queued for the Banksy v.
The PRSC team have put together a major exhibition to launch the Ground Floor Gallery of 37 Jamaica Street Studios.
Please come and see the exhibition which will run until December 24th, and will be open every day from 11-6pm (11-4pm Sundays).
As the days lengthen, the demand for sites to paint increases. Stokes Croft’s growing reputation for Artistic Excellence in its public spaces means that people are queuing to paint here.

This splendid piece sprung up last Wednesday night… And that it has passed almost unnoticed is arguably its strength.. Nestling between Slix Hamburgers and the Hairdressers, this abandoned shopfront is brought back to life… its Sweeney Todd theme is pertinent and site specific, positive for the area, and well executed…

Something amazing is happening in Bristol. The people are voting with their feet, making the City Museum Banksy show the hottest show in the Country.
The Banksy exhibition at the City Museum has seen huge queues… PRSC will be handing out mini canvasses/flyers for the punters to create pieces of work as they queue for Bristol’s greatest free show… The resulting creativity of the public will then be exhibited in Stokes Croft, as an exhibition in its own right…
