Dutch Auction at PRSC HQ to run until July 23rd, 2010.
This innovative rolling exhibition is designed to provide an outlet for aspiring artists to show and sell their work, and to offer to the Public the opportunity to purchase an artwork at a genuinely affordable price.
About two weeks ago, liz Krcma’s splendid porcelain sculpture (Pictured Below) went missing from the PRSC shop window. Priced at £180, the piece is unique, and easily identifiable.

Empty Shops and Promotion Initiative (round 2)
Bristol City Council has received funding from the Department of Communities and Local Government to encourage the ‘temporary’ use of empty shops during the recession.
MAKE A SALEABLE ART WORK AND BECOME A PART OF THE P.R.S.C.’s PAINT EXPERIMENT
Expanding on the P.R.S.C.’S already established outdoor gallery concept – which uses street art to re-invigorate the area – Paint Experiment will facilitate the creation of saleable Artworks in the public domain, requiring the participation of the community as: artists, buyers and curators.
We are pleased to announce the launch of Stokes Croft China at PRSC HQ on Friday 27th November .
This is directly in line with our Mission statement,

Many thanks to all those who have brought in (And often sold) work, and to those who have bought some of the splendid work that has adorned the walls of the Gallery this Summer.
The PRSC Summer Dutch Auction opened on 24th July, and runs all summer. The work changes continually, showcasing local talent and offering the opportunity to own very, very affordable Art… No need to buy mass produced stuff from Habitat or IKEA… The goods are right here, and all sales will be split between PRSC and the artist…
If you know anybody who fritters their money away up at the top end of the town, drag them here…
