The (Hoarding is not) preventing regeneration of the wider area or the immediate site, and indeed it may have some beneficial impacts in reducing the amount of graffiti.
Bristol City Council will present the three short-listed designs for The City Road/ Stokes Croft Corner Site.
There is one local design of the three choices.

The Croft changes so rapidly that it is increasingly difficult to document…
First off, a debate about the nature of “Rubbish”, a subject very close to Stokes Croft’s heart…
Paris has been prolific, as ever, in the Croft… Interestingly , his re-working of the Hillgrove St./ Stokes Croft corner has elicited no response from BCC.
This joyful little piece went up on Sunday… Of course, we have no idea who did it…
It is exactly the way forward, however… Gentle, whimsical and witty, it turns a part of the Croft that is previously unconsidered, into a canvas, a visual attraction.
Dave “Steamer”, one of the crew that run the Lakota, tells us that they now have a two year lease on the property.
