The former Jesters Comedy Club at 142 Cheltenham Road, Stokes Croft, whose lease has been taken over by Tesco, has been squatted.
News has emerged that Tesco have bought the lease on the former “Jesters” Comedy Club on Cheltenham Road.

More bad news is that I can confirm that Tesco have signed a lease to take the commercial unit of old Jesters at 140 Cheltenham Road.
The Stokes Croft Fashion Show which took place on Sunday October 4th was deemed a resounding success. Eight local designers showed their collections in the splendour of the new Metropolis at the top of Stokes Croft.
Stokes Croft hosts its first ever fashion show this Sunday. Organised by the inestimable Gilly Woo, whose corsetry and bespoke dressmaking is based in the heart of Stokes Croft, the show will highlight the creativity that resides in the area.
