Police work with shopkeepers to amend licences to forbid retail of high strength lagers and cider.

Stokes Croft local beat officers have brokered  an apparently voluntary agreement with the six independent retailers of  alcohol in Stokes Croft to ban sales of  beers and cider with an alcoholic content of more than 6%.

Criminal Damage trial Update: Mr Chalkley pleads Not Guilty. Trial date will be set on 26th November, 2009.

Mr. Chris Chalkley attended court on 9th October to answer the charge set out below. Whilst admitting that he had painted the sign in question, he pleaded not guilty to criminal damage.
