As part of our ongoing process of consultation with our local community about the future of Hamilton House and the future of Stokes Croft, we spoke to PRSC about urban change, community land trusts and building alternative economic systems.

A group of adults who have learning difficulties have been creating poetry with Anita.
A few weeks ago we were asked to make a particularly diverse range of china. The print we were using ranged from original 1960’s brown stars and floral Meissen to Joe strummer quotes and Relentless Optimism by Jamaica Street artist Rose Vickers.
On the night of October 14th, PRSC put up 20 panels in the subways of the Bear Pit. The materials were funded by Destination Bristol, who, to their credit, had no control of the content of the work, which was decided by local artists working to the loosest of briefs.
Despite any concerns that may have been raised, the sale of approximately 1,000 Banksy Molotov posters took place on Saturday May 7th amongst much good humour, and without incident, as several organisations including PRSC, Coexist, Bookfair organisers and Banksy’s people worked together to ensure that all went off peacefully.
The New custom built PRSC Outdoor Gallery, which is lit at night. The PRSC yard will be wired properly in January.

There has been a clear increase in overt political expression, hardly surprising given the political climate.
Recently the famous and well-loved piece on Albert Park, Montpelier, (Apparently) was dogged… A large white emulsion tag effectively wrecking this landmark…
last week, the piece was comprehensively sorted, Feek, 3-dom, Sepr and Soker( and others?) creating a real tour de force, a worthy replacement for the damaged work.
