Inspired by the global urban edible and food sovereignty movements, and the Incredible Todmorden story, Incredible Edible Bristol vision was to become the UK’s first edible city. Since commencing in February 2014, the citizens of Bristol have come together to develop it’s community and grow food, reviving underused and unloved spaces.
From community to private gardens, seeds are begin sewn. Guerrilla gardening, edible hanging baskets, grass verge takeovers and seed swaps all contribute with the aim to provide fresh, healthy food for all. Providing food security and sovereignty.
