Who needs a fellow to play Othello? Or a lady to play… Lady Macbeth?
We are throwing away all the weight of masculinity and femininity with our evening of gender bent Shakespeare monologues and duologues. No longer will you ever have to wonder ‘would Benvolio look better in a skirt?’ Or ‘I’d prefer Viola is she had a beard.’ ShakesQueer will satisfy all of these questions! So, prepare to enjoy an evening of the Bard’s poetry being performed by opposite genders.
The show will start at 19:30 in the PRSC
There will only be one performace so make sure you come along!
Members: £4
Others: £5
Ticket will be brought on the door
