Bristol City Council gives go ahead for Tesco in Cheltenham Road by 4 votes to 3

Councillors voted by 4-3 in favour of allowing Tesco to open. The remaining barriers, according to our  planning system were the noise assesment to the rear, where Tesco intend to install huge freezers and chiller rooms.

Love Bristol get active in the Croft

Love Bristol, the faith-based organisation based in Stokes Croft, are becoming increasingly visible… The ground floor of the building which faces Ashley Road has become a charity shop for the Christmas period,  has been painted in a festive fashion, and the street furniture now sports a sewn covering…
Love Bristol agreed to the painting of the “Think Local” anti -Tesco mural on their building and made a contribution towards the cost of the paint.

Bling, Bling me Babber piece on Albert Park receives makeover.

Recently the famous and well-loved piece on Albert Park, Montpelier, (Apparently) was dogged… A large white emulsion tag effectively wrecking this landmark…

last week, the piece was comprehensively sorted, Feek, 3-dom, Sepr and Soker( and others?) creating a real tour de force, a worthy replacement for the damaged work.
